What Is Medication Diary?

Medication Diary records how your medication response changes over the course of a day. Instead of choosing between two states, it records how well you are moving right now, and lets that record become a curve.

What it records

A record has three parts. Output — how well the body is moving right now. Medication — what was taken, and when. Events — things like meals, activity, or dyskinesia that can affect the curve.

Once the three sit on the same timeline, what's left isn't scattered notes — it's the shape of a day.

An example of how records become a curve The horizontal axis runs from 06:00 to 14:00. The vertical axis is how well the body is moving, relative to that person's own range — higher is better movement. Doses are marked at 07:00. Starts to rise around 08:10, Highest point around 09:00, Coming down around 11:20. higher lower 07:00 06 08 10 12 14 Starts to rise 08:10 Highest point 09:00 Coming down 11:20 An example of how records become a curve The horizontal axis runs from 06:00 to 14:00. Why not just two states

Recording medication response as simply "on" or "off" erases the wide stretch in between. Whether the curve is still rising, has risen but stays lower than usual, or is on its way down — all three collapse into one. Most of what a clinic visit actually needs lives in that stretch.

So instead of asking you to choose a state, Medication Diary asks you to record a degree. You can keep recording even in a moment where it's hard to say which side you're on.

Where records are kept

Records stay on the device you use. This website does not receive or store them. Export and restore are built in for when you switch devices or reset one.
